Blog About Day…

Blogging

I am a newbie to blogging and the few regular visitors I get know that 🙂 I am learning day by day and I find the blogging community very warm and eager to help each other. What I love about blogging is the ability to express your thoughts in whatever way you like and the fact that there is someone out there who will read what you have to write. Having an audience that has no physical boundaries is fantastic.

I would like to suggest to the blogging community that we should have more ‘Blog About Days’. ‘Blog About Palestine Day’ really pushed me to research about this topic and I am so glad that I did. It opened my mind about the genocide that has been happening for the last 60 years.

Lets have a
Blog About USA Day
Blog About UK Day
Blog About Iraq Day
Blog About Iran Day
Blog About Pakistan Day
So on and so on and so on…….

  1. Great idea! but it has to pull all the community to do it..i mean people from the US, living or working outside the US or Arabs living and working in the US …you know, things like that. You missed out on “blog about Jordan day”..it was a huge success.
thanks for adding a link to my cooking blog, i appreciate it 🙂

  2. Qwaider, words cannot express how disgusted I feel about the double standards of the world.
btw I recommend the book ‘The Palestine Question’ by Henry Cattan.

  3. It was a terrific day. As Summer said, you missed out on the “Blog About Jordan Day” which was about 2 months ago.

I guess it is all about balance. You can not ask people for very frequent “Blog about [blah]” days because it will soon feel like work or homework, and nobody will do it. But hey, the year is long, so a few more of these are in order 🙂

  4. It was such a shame that I missed out on the ‘Blog About Jordan Day’ but I will be there next year 🙂
I understand you point Za3tar about too many ‘Blog About Day’ it can defeat the purpose, which is to highlight and focus on certain topics.
But why not generalise it with something like ‘Blog About Europe Day’ or ‘Blog About Mid-Day’. Just a thought but I am looking fwd to the next ‘Blog About Day’
    🙂

  5. Summer, it is my pleasure to add your blog as my Fav:-) it’s different from the others I have read and I am discovering many more:-)
it was a shame I missed ‘Blog About Jordan Day’. there is next year:-)

  6. Wasap, I wonder how I missed your blog? Brain-dead mom, I guess. anyway, best of luck in Egypt, and i look forward to peeking at your archives as a fellow American journey-person!
